Please upload a pdf-file. This document must include the title of the project, the applicants’ names and the abstract as stated on the right. If you receive the error message "an internal Error has occured", please upload the application without the pdf-file and send us the pdf-file afterwards (within the deadline) via e-mail to: ers@ers.rwth-aachen.de

Each proposal is evaluated by two reviewers. If you wish to exclude a reviewer please make a note in the comment field.

Applications are evaluated along the following criteria:
• Quality of the research programme in an international comparison: originality, vision, and openness to risk,
• Disciplinary and interdisciplinary scope, coherence and feasibility of the research programme,
• Added value of the collaboration,
• Quality of previous contributions to the field of research,
• Positive impact on the future development of the field of research or the stimulation of new research areas, timeliness of the chosen topic,
• Qualification of people involved considering their respective career stage,
• Integration and role in the strategic development of the university, if applicable: benefit of the collaboration with other institutions,
• Assessment of how the work carried out contributes to increasing the likelihood of success for a coordinated DFG program,

Please note:
- Proposals that do not comply with the formal criteria as noted in the call will be excluded from the reviewing process.
